I believe that we are connected to our families through our individual histories and that we must record them or they will be lost. This family history, which is written from my personal perspective, is an unending work in progress as are all family histories. I’ve tried to include references to most of the resources that I have found and used. In times gone by, I spent countless hours in Washington, D.C., at the National Archives, tracking down microfilm of as many relatives as I could find, as well as interviewing anyone who could tell me stories. I wish I had done even more.
No family history is a finished document.
